Fifty-six Years in the Making

Shortly before I spread my wings and migrated to Florida for the winter on the tails of Canada geese heading to these mild climes where I am now ensconced in my condo aerie, I had a special visitor to Hollybrook House—my oldest friend on the planet.

We began a playlist in anticipation of the occasion, sending each other YouTube videos…then continued our musical he-played/she-played game throughout the course of our time together, summoning Alexa to do her thing. I kept track of the tracks. And, en fin, I added the “After…” tune, getting in the last word. Karla’s coda.

Please readers: Scroll through. Dip in. Sing along. Get dancing. Chill out. Share thoughts. Be groovy.

Thank you for listening.

  2. Just started listening to some of your playlist. Did you know that Avril Lavigne comes from the small town of Napanee where we do all our shopping? Quite a gal, who ran away at 15 and went to NY city. We saw her a a local park there a few summers ago as they usually have summertime concerts with local groups.Sher
